About Us
History of AIVAF
The company was founded in 2023 by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sergey Yuriev and Nikolay Nedkov — two professionals in the pharmaceutical field.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sergey Yuriev
successfully combines an academic career at Kyiv Medical University with managing the largest commercial medical company in Ukraine in the field of allergen sales.
Nikolay Nedkov
is a specialist in pharmaceutical sales, having worked for a company such as "Actavis," where he was responsible for their entire export operations across 45 markets worldwide.
The two decided to found the company in Bulgaria based on their shared vision: as allergy rates among the population continue to rise, the existing market needs a genuinely new stage of development — one that brings it closer to international standards in allergy diagnosis and treatment.
On the basis of their experience and connections, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yuriev and Mr. Nedkov are confident they have the know-how to make this happen in Bulgaria — and that it will contribute to improving the health of the population.
Mission
AIVAF has the ambition to become a key player in the allergen market — not only in Bulgaria, but across a number of Balkan countries where it has obtained rights to represent its partner manufacturers of medical products and equipment, expanding its operations into the markets of Romania, North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

We believe in direct contact with doctors and their associations, specializing in the medical fields for which the company represents products and equipment. AIVAF actively sponsors and presents its clients at numerous seminars, while also helping to enhance the qualifications and expertise of medical specialists across the country.
